Strange Galactic Fashion Show

Hey Strangers, it’s Haley and Carlyn, Ali’s interns who worked behind the scene’s of the Guardians of the Galaxy Fashion Show. From communicating with each model, makeup artist, body painter and Salon Lux, we were able to learn each step that goes into the process of planning a fashion show. With this being our first event and fashion show for Strange Bikinis, we had absolutely no idea what expect out of this experience. Planning and organizing each outfit and design would not have been possible without the immense help we received from everyone involved with the event. Through cooperation and hard work, we were able to gain an insight on the fashion industry, and raise money for nonprofits in the Reno Community. Thank you again to everyone who made this experience a reality!

Earlier this month, Strange Bikinis was asked to be part of Hatch Lab’s Halloween party, hosted by Salon Lux, to raise money and awareness for the new creative workspace and educational resources at their location in downtown Reno, Nevada. It was great to see small businesses come together to see Hatch Lab’s studio areas and celebrate the local community! We had such a fun time with our models, makeup and paint artists, and team to put together our galaxy themed fashion show. Here are some behind the scene pictures of the event !
