What is it?

We're excited to announce we're leveling up the event this year by raising money for a Reno local based charity, The Walker Basin Conservancy and national charity, Plastic Free Fridays. The $25 registration fee will also be donated to charity!
Join us for the 2nd annual Strange Bikinis The Big Dip June 20th at 11AM where we will polar plunge into Lake Tahoe to raise money for these two charities. We have rescheduled the Dip from March 21st due to COVID-19. Although the Lake won't be as cold (who are we kidding, it's Tahoe) we want to be as cautious as possible regarding the virus which is why we've rescheduled.
The Walker Basin Conservancy is leading the effort to restore and maintain Walker Lake while protecting agricultural, environmental and recreational interests in the Walker River Basin. Plastic Free Fridays Help us be a part of making change both locally and globally by donating to The Big Dip.

Cost: $25 per Dipper which goes to support Walker Basin Conservancy and Plastic Free Fridays

Where: Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort6834 N Lake Blvd, Tahoe Vista, CA 96148

Things you'll need to bring: Towel, yoga mat, beanie, warm fuzzy shoes for AFTER, water shoes or socks, warm clothes (think easy to take off and on), warm spirits of your liking, and your STRANGE BIKINI

What if I'm not able to make it to The Big Dip?
You can still participate! You can purchase a ticket to support these charities and do a remote Dip. You can Dip anywhere, a hot tub, a pool, the ocean, a lake. Send us a video and we'll feature you on our blog or social media.
